Named stations appear on the clock as they come up. Leave it as it is to run one unnamed block.

The clock runs fullscreen and keeps the screen awake. It needs JavaScript, so with scripting off the plan below is the whole session written out.

How it works

Twenty intervals of twenty and ten fills ten minutes, of which six minutes and forty seconds is work. The density is what makes it hard. There is never a gap long enough to recover, only long enough to reset.

Ten minutes sits at a useful point. It is long enough to be a session by itself and short enough to add to the end of a lifting day without wrecking the next one.

Rotate two or three movements. Twenty intervals on a single exercise stops being about conditioning and becomes about local muscular endurance in whatever gives out first, which is usually not the thing you were training.

Set the pace off round fifteen rather than round one. If you can imagine holding your current rate for another five rounds at the halfway mark, the pace is right.

Questions

How much of the ten minutes is work?
Six minutes and forty seconds, spread across twenty intervals. That is a high work density for a ten minute session, which is why the pace has to be conservative.
Is this a complete workout?
It is a complete conditioning session. It trains nothing for strength, so it belongs after lifting or on its own day.
How many exercises should I rotate?
Two or three. Twenty intervals on one movement gets grim, and rotating gives each muscle a real gap without stopping the clock.
