Named stations appear on the clock as they come up. Leave it as it is to run one unnamed block.
The clock runs fullscreen and keeps the screen awake. It needs JavaScript, so with scripting off the plan below is the whole session written out.

How it works
Forty intervals of twenty and ten runs twenty minutes and puts thirteen of them into work. At that length the format stops being a burst and becomes a pace you have to defend for a long time.
The effort is much lower than a four minute block, and it has to be. Anyone treating this as five Tabatas back to back will be walking by round twenty, and the last half of the session is where the training was.
Rotate four movements or more. Ten intervals each on four exercises spreads the load across the body, and each movement gets ninety seconds of recovery even though the clock runs continuously.
The useful measure is round forty against round five. Holding the same output across that gap is a harder and more transferable skill than going very hard once, and it is what a session this long is for.
Questions
- Is twenty minutes of 20/10 sensible?
- As a conditioning session, yes, provided the pace matches the length. At the effort a four minute block deserves it is not survivable, and pretending otherwise ends the session at round fifteen.
- How many exercises?
- Four or more, rotated. Forty intervals is a lot of repetitions for any single movement, and rotating spreads the wear.
- How often can I run this?
- Once or twice a week. It is a real workload, and stacking long interval sessions on consecutive days is how conditioning training turns into accumulated fatigue.
